Your garden may already be gorgeous, but with the right decorative pieces, it has the potential to become your dwelling’s most striking feature. And you don’t need to buy a new stuff. Just look for the things like an old tire, used golf balls, rusty cycle rims and old copper tubes.

  1. 1.   Hanging Tire Planter:

An old tire can be used to accentuate your lush garden. And it is easy to make.

What You Need…

Instructions:

  • Firstly, make drainage holes in the bottom of the tire using a drill.
  • Spray-paint tire. Let it dry.
  • Fill potting soil in one space (other than the hole side)
  • Plant your seasonal flowers in the tire.
  • Hang the tire from a tree or porch. The knot should be tied securely.
  1. 2.   Torch Craft:

This is an excellent way to revamp your old lampshade. Let’s do it…

What You Need…

  • 4 Inch soft copper tubes
  • Glass light shade
  • Glass jar with metal lid
  • Fuel
  • Nails
  • Hammer
  • Manual pipe cutter or saw

Instructions:

  • Bend one end of copper tube to form a circle to hold the glass light shade securely. Bend the remaining length of copper tubing to get a curvy “stem.” The bottom third of tubing should be left straight.
  • Strike hammer on the bottom end of tubing to make it flat. Now, push it into the ground. It should be done in a way so that the light shade can remain upright.
  • Take a jar lid and punch a hole less than diameter in it center. Pass the wick through lid. Fill jar with torch fuel.
  • Place jar in the tubing circles and light the wick.
